Now that twenty five years have
passed since the Falklands conflict ended, the chance to
study the campaign in detail and on the ground is not to
be overlooked. Through official histories, veteran accounts
and contemporary sources we are proud to offer this comprehensive
walking tour for 2008. As nature begins to heal the scars
of history tangible evidence of the campaign in the form
of the ever present minefields, discarded equipment, shell
craters and memorials remain evident on every walk we take.
Flying via Santiago our tour will be based in Port Stanley
with one night being spent at the Darwin House Lodge. This
small group tour, limited to just 10 places will be accompanied
by two guides throughout, one of whom was a veteran of the
conflict. Our walks cover all aspects of the campaign and
provide the opportunity to meet with extremely proud and
friendly islanders themselves.
Day 1 - Depart London Heathrow for flight to Santiago via Paris or Madrid.
